12-lead ECG
A 12-lead ECG is a simple, painless and non-invasive test which records electrical signals of the heart over a few seconds using 10 electrode stickers placed on specific areas of the chest wall and limbs. A 12-lead ECG provides important electrical information from the heart that can aid diagnosis of electrical conduction system abnormalities, arrhythmia, heart muscle thickening, cardiomyopathy and acute or prior heart attacks.
We can perform a 12-lead ECG as part of a consultation with a specialist or separately by self-referral. An authorised report can be provided within 2 working days. We can also perform home wireless ambulatory ECG monitoring.
